i just need to say right now that the Lord is GOOD to CCF.
my fellowship.
my home.
His home.
:)
excitedly anticipating, and waiting to hear how the Lord has touched you/ spoken to you.
for myself, I still currently need to chew on a few more things before I post a long one... so in the meantime... this will have to do.
retreat was: thought-provoking, fundamentally challenging, radical in a very non-hype manner, where i was able to discover the fullness of the Bible from GENESIS to REVELATIONS, to be taught from the Scriptures literally, to be captured thoroughly by the Word of God by divinely granted awakeness and alertness, to remember again and celebrate the goodness of the gospel message (Hallelujah indeed! Oh how wondrous it is to hear the joy of the gospel for what it really is)... i am happy and excited. :)
But seriously, it is not so much what happened at retreat that I am excited about. Rather, it is what the Spirit was doing long before, and WILL do in my life, and in the lives of those around me as we grapple BUT rest in the confidence that we have in Christ Jesus and what Calvary meant for us.
So if you are reading this, and you're comin' out from the retreat - keep chewing. keep reflecting. keep asking those questions so that together, we continue in our refining process from the day God gave us the right to become His child. :)
