"But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's." Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"
Expand my heart. Help me know you more. I want to be filled by You, and You alone. I surrender my cross; my life to you. All of my studies. All of my plans. All of my ambitions. I give them to you.
Guide me Holy Spirit, to the desires of the Lord's heart for my life in every day decisions.
