must i wait?

re: adjustment to the many changes all around or perhaps the lack of change all around.

"you need to remember, that you are the one who has changed, while many other things are still relatively the same."

waiting for a time when i can begin to appreciate and embrace THIS, which, while in london, seems the perfect norm, but while back home, seems so off-kilter i seriously wonder if I'm from another planet? a year ago, everything seemed so set, and i was ready to go. and a year later, i'm more than ever lost and confused!

but the answer seems to be:

wait.

wait for? all the answers to what needs to be sacrificed, what needs to be done, what needs not to be pursued, what needs to be pursued, which battles to take on, which battles to let go, which ones to invest in, and which ones to let aside, which desires to give back, which passions to let fade, those that require stripping away until i reach

the bare minimum.

i am a restless being. i am a person who likes the answers NOW. i am a person who wants results NOW. i am a person who does not like to rest and remain still. to do so makes me worry of being useless, of seeming uncaring, thoughtless, coldhearted towards all things and all people. yet reaching this realization begs and affirms the burning need to rest, so that the mind does not become its own fuel for make-believe lies.

so must i wait?

yes.

i must wait.
