adjusting back to the tdot

So strange thing happened yesterday when I met up for dinner with my friend at fairview...

while we were waiting for our table, she asked if we could head to american eagle...

i'm like.. sure!!

walked in and....

i felt SO LOST!!!

as i stood there, i honestly asked her...

what do I do now???
*bewildered look all around*

"you buy things...."
*gives me a strange look*

Riiiight... as it all comes rushing back... I realize that all I had been spending money on in the last few weeks was food. i'm sure you did as well - all the breakfast/lunch/dinner dates... (snooty's, bean bar, main desserts (don't go there.. not worth it), campus food, indian garden, basilique, pho, QQs..what else am i missing? haha...) and in the next few weeks, more meal time gatherings with every contact you can possibly meet up with...

the thought of spending money on THINGS is so foreign ... or at least i thought.

today, i went shopping with my mom and sister, because apparently, it's thursday and that's what we do on thursdays... duh... (?!!?!?!) and low and behold, the last store we go into was american eagle.... and i bought four shirts on sale...

certainly didn't take me long to adjust to that one eh? ;)

i then proceeded to drive my sister to church for a meeting where some aunties and uncles made fun of me.... i have now officially joined their club of waiting-aimlessly-around-for-odd -one-two-hour-gaps as teens meet for planning meetings... >.< and i'm not even a parent yet!! :(

and then, the gals in my family bummed and watched Ice Princess ... :) awww... it was a cute movie... haha...

it's been good so far. two full-fledged talk-your-ear-off meals with friends i obviously haven't talked to in a looooong time! good times!! only more to come!
