these last few days have been good.
quiet.
restful.
kick off my shoes, lean back, and just... BE...
sat - indian garden and the first real cline house dinner together - i heart 43 cline. can we never again be depleted of 5:!6 for such a long period? the battle is that much harder when fighting solo. together we rise, together we fall. the important part is that we do all together.
bean bar - live jazz, delicious totally worth the money huge slices of rich cake - the almond choco cheesecake is so amazing... we're still scraping away at it in the fridge. mmmmm
sun - mission baptist - a much needed sermon - the Spirit was truly speaking, and convicting the heart of the pastor, and his message was very necessary for everyone - no matter whether you were part of the church family or not. signposts of opportunity, of instruction... Jesus allows it to be YOUR move in inviting Him to dine with you.
MESH MEETING - there is much potential in the new committee. haha.... i dun even really see them as new committee, nor do i see us as old committee.. we are all just a bunch of friends gathering together and chillin'... and that's what i love about hccf. we are literally a family. we just chill together, no heirarchy, while there is structure, it doesn't impede in how our friendships come first and foremost. winnie and i tried to separate ccf and our friendship to make sure ccf didn't consume us... and yet now i realize our friendship IS ccf!!
my bonds with my sisters and brothers ARE ccf. i don't know why this strikes me so hard.. but it does!!!
and the last two days, i've just been chillin' with these people - esp. the grads. 125 emerson, king houses, eileen.. gonna miss you guys like c-r-a-z-y. already feeling the void... yet there is much to be happy about when i think of when everyone drops in the thought that they'll still see us. that's the beauty of mac. everyone is within such close proximity of each other such that a visit is not a difficult, laborious task....
