i think i can now say i have a church home in hammy now. :) (finally!) i now also realize why i've felt a void since returning this year. i no longer have my weekly meetings with eileen, my mentor and winnie, which has translated into being deprived of my weekly stimuli to think about grander societal issues from a Christian perspective. So I now see that I have the opportunity to be what they were to me last year to a younger sister/brother - to challenge thoughts and grapple with the more dificult issues.
so who shall i target? haha.. JOOKES.
seriously though; i need to stop being lazy in thinking and questioning. it's time for me to stop sitting in the backbench and start actively nurturing the relationships built at ccf. after talking to jess today about our small group, i can't can't can't WAIT to start investing in the more tangible aspect of our friendships!!
what i DO need to learn though:
how to properly balance between showing that i care and not risking burnout again
